THE RACE TEAM WAS FOR WOMEN WHO:
Enjoyed being part of our local race community
Regularly signed up for races (regardless of goals or outcomes)
Were ready to take the next step from being a more casual rider
Enjoyed pushing yourself and have a little competitive edge
Had been an active part of the PBCC community in the past
Had a genuine interest in breaking down barriers for other women and welcoming others into the cycling community.
We enjoyed 2.5 years as a race team and are so grateful for the connections we made!

The race team was proudly sponsored by SRAM, The Bike Way, Astute Coffee, and Dry Spokes. As a member of the Prairie Bloom race team, individuals received discounts on bikes, gear and team merch!

Being part of a team meant that each member had a lot of women in their corner. We were big cheerleaders for one another and cared about seeing each other succeed. Team members led rides and helped with events, and in turn got to grow in their leadership skills!

Over the course of our 2.5 years as a team, we shared team dinners, training rides, bike trips, and team building events (curling, climbing, race trips, etc).
